Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actress and television presenter. She's best known as the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. As the only children of Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the world of show business early, and ended up acting in lead roles on various television dramas by the time she turned 16. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall the role she played as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra is well-known for her participation in a variety of noteworthy projects both domestically and internationally. The projects include British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as well as French historic miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she is an official jury member for both the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
